Chicago Rescue Grant Awardee

De La Salle Institute

De La Salle Institute is a high school in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago, serving a predominantly African-American and Hispanic population. Over 35 academic clubs and 38 different sports offerings are available to these traditionally underserved students, 100% of whom are accepted into college and leave high school with the “never stop learning” attitude.

The STOP Award Rescue grant of $300,000 will allow 15 additional students the opportunity to pursue a college preparatory education while being academically challenged, spiritually deepened, athletically competitive and culturally enriched!
