Unable to buy and distribute devices like many others could, this small religious school developed a new strategy to support instruction using web based apps that could be accessed effectively on mobile phones alone. Staff, students, and parents had to be the key operators of instruction for the year. WIth a state mandate they could not open, their enrollment was affected. But despite the odds, the students rose on the state’s report card rating and exceeded expectations. Adding three-year olds and a new Kindergarten would help them serve students greatly in need of an exceptional and caring learning environment.
