The schools served by this trailblazing private school management organization were the epicenter of the pandemic’s devastating first wave. Within five days of the shut-down, educators were able to adapt instructional delivery during the shut-down to fit the needs and technical limitations of their community and the brooked no delays in opening school on time in the fall, both in person and remotely for families who wanted it, and with the buy-in of families and teachers. They were even able to expand their impact in the middle of the pandemic, beginning work in two Cleveland schools. The resolve, effectiveness and innovations of the Partnership model need to expand to include other students and other Catholic schools.
